OUR MODEL / A TABLE CHURCH

At Redeemer Bible Church of San Antonio, we believe the Bible tells us how we can know God and glorify him forever. We also believe we are created for community.  From the start, our model for the local church was what we refer to as a "Table Church."  What do we mean by that?  When we gather corporately, when share a meal together before the service in order to fellowship with one another, listen to one another, encourage one another, and to simply catch up.  Once the meal concludes, we focus our attention to the primary reason we gathered: to worship the triune God of the Bible.  Once the service concludes, we encourage our members to gather around their own tables to continue their fellowship, support each other through life's challenges, and grow in faith together.   Ultimately, our aim is simply this:  we aim to be an authentic Christian community that grows as committed followers of Jesus Christ.  Join us as we live in community with each other and the world around us!
